The CrossFurr leaderboard is the heart of our community. It is displayed in the lobby, updated weekly, and the cause of at least two ongoing feuds.
How Points Are Awarded
- One point for each completed circuit
- Two points for a good landing
- Three points for a landing no one saw, if there is evidence
- Five points for scratching the post in front of Coach Tuna
- Minus ten points for sitting on the scoreboard
Current Standings
At the time of writing, Gary leads with 12,004 points, mostly for sitting. In second place is Pudding, who earned her score through aggressive ankle work. Third place is held by a sock, which we have been unable to disqualify.
The Scandals
The Sock Dispute remains unresolved. Members argue that a sock has no membership and therefore no right to a rank. The sock’s lawyer, a cat named Biscuit, argues that the sock was dragged in by a member and should be counted under that member’s total.
We have also investigated allegations that Gary rested his paw on the scale during a weigh in. Gary denies this and has offered no further comment.
Feuds
A long running feud between two ginger members has now entered its second year. It began over a disagreement about whose turn it was on the ball, and has since grown to include the water bowl, the window, and the idea of fairness.
How to Climb the Ranks
Show up. Sprint. Land well. Make sure Coach Tuna sees you do it. Do not, under any circumstances, claim the scoreboard as a bed.
Standings will be updated every Friday. Complaints may be filed by knocking a pen onto the floor.
Prizes
At the end of every month, the member in first place receives a golden bell, which they must wear for exactly eleven minutes before removing it with a look of deep betrayal. The winner also receives first choice of the sunny patch by the weights.
Second place receives a smaller bell. Third place receives a sock.
This post is satirical and all rankings are imaginary.
